On 26th November 2008 Mumbai attack occurred by Lashkar-e-Taiba, an Islamic terrorist organisation based in Pakistan. The mastermind of this attack Hafiz Saeed is arrested on 31st January 2017 by Pakistan.
Hafiz Saeed and his four aides – Abdullah Ubaid, Malik Zafar Iqbal, Abdul Rehman Abid and Qazi Kashif Hussain – were detained by Punjab government for 90 days under the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 and the Fourth Schedule of Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 on January 31 this year.

The move was seen as Pakistan’s bid to send a message to the world that it was serious about acting against terrorists operating from its territory.Pakistan authorities couldn’t capable to present evidence against Mumbai attack mastermind (Hafiz Saeed). Lahore Court rejects Hafeez’s detention. However, the four aides of the international terrorist were released in the last week of October. Hafiz Saeed is a free man now.

Senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy told Times Now, “It is not shocker at all. Pakistan is formally designated the terrorist state. India should declare Pakistan an enemy country”
